Looking Stead Layout

There is parking available close to the front door with a gate (112cms wide), leading directly onto a concrete ramp, up to the front door (78cms wide) into the house.

Looking Stead is based on two levels – ground and first floor.

The dining room and lounge are based on the ground floor, where all doors are at least 79cms wide and there is a 1.5cm wooden lip into reception. There is a bedroom available on request on this floor, by calling or emailing ahead of your proposed visit.

Mellbreak room, on the ground floor, has a door(87cms wide) by the stairway and a king size bed. The floors are wooden and carpet. The door into the bathroom/wet room is 81cms wide and is fully tiled. There is an open shower with a shower chair and a sink with 40cms clearance. There are grab rails by the bath, shower and sink.

The staircase to the first floor consists of 7 steps with a handrail on the right before turning for a further 4 steps with a handrail on the left.

Low Fell room (double) is at the top of the stairs and has three doors, which range from 67 to 77cms wide, for the entrance, bedroom and shower room. The floor is sloping in both the bedroom and shower room, in keeping with the age of the property. The entrance door has a key/and snib lock fitted and a small step.

There is a landing with a further three steps, with a handrail on the left, to the Grasmoor room (superking/twin), which also has a step down into the main area. Again there are three doors, with widths ranging from 69 to 71cms, for the entrance, bedroom and shower room. The entrance door has a key/and snib lock fitted.

There is a ramp leading to the conservatory, where there is a step into the conservatory and a further step into the utility room, which also leads into the house.
